The Incorrigible…and counting

The final part of The Duke & Dandy series should be ready to release within the next couple of weeks.

I was hoping ‘twould be finished by the end of the month, but it appears to have grown in the telling. It has been edited, but I had a final ‘few’ chapters to write. At least half a dozen later…I’m almost done. ๐Ÿ˜ณ
While the first two books were about 30,000 words long, The Incorrigible & The Count is 40,000…and counting.

So…um, at least it’s a tad longer…? ๐Ÿ™„

“I want you and only you. I am prepared to go to the gallows declaring thus rather than relinquish you. If that makes me โ€˜weakโ€™ or any less of a man in diseased eyes, then so be it. I care not, I will never prostrate myself on the altar of their hatred…”

Padraic, Duke of Waterford.ย ย D&D#3

      1. Progress! Woo! ๐Ÿ’ž ๐Ÿ’
They did. I’ve since split things up and there’s one more chapter than previously reported. Now it’s in the hands of beta #2 who cryptically asked if I wanted to keep the story under a certain word count. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

      3. I don’t know. I’m a bit worried she thinks it needs all kinds of things, but I don’t necessarily have to agree. ๐Ÿ˜‰ But I do suspect it might have been a preemptive kind of question.
I hope your editing process is progressing as planned today! ๐Ÿ’–

  1. I did so hope twas the preemptive sort.๐Ÿ’ž It’s a splendid thing indeed not to have to agree…but anything less than a ‘yesss’ has a titchy tendency to unleash the bees in your bonnet on the fretting front.๐Ÿ˜ฒ About stuff you’d deemed done ‘n’ dusted. Pfft.๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ˜”๐ŸŒน
Thank you! Um, slow but sure?๐Ÿ™„
